Home Assistant changed the way I run my house. I have automations running everything — lights, alarms, climate, security and more. Dashboards, integrations and automations - Only seen. Never heard.

When I wanted to stream music and play announcements, I ran into the wall.

Name brand speakers come with conditions, cloud dependencies, custom integrations, tricky workarounds, custom code, proprietary apps, etc. Sometimes they worked. Sometimes not.

I wanted a commercially available speaker - one specifically built for Home Assistant. One that plays music and delivers TTS notifications - But it simply didn't exist.

So I built it.

HouseWaves is designed for individuals like you and I. We're already running Home Assistant, building automations and wanting to add audio without adding complexity.

Now we have a real, viable option. HouseWaves are the first speakers purpose-built for the platform — open source, locally controlled and ready on day one to make your smart home sound as good as it works.
